Singapore Machinery Company (SMC) was established in 1977. It now has more than four decades of experience in providing high quality, cost effective and innovative solutions to the apparel and textile manufacturing industry. The entry to the Pakistani market dates more than 15 years back, when we introduced our Smarts Unit Production System (UPS) to a garment manufacturer and home textile company. They have since been using our system, witnessing how the UPS enhanced their growth in production, data management and human resources, increasing overall processes effectiveness and efficiency.

Over the years, the demand for professional consultancy in production management has increased significantly. This means that increased automation and creative solutions to combat lack manpower and skilled labour are now more sought after than before. The adoption of Smartmrt UPS continues to attract adoption by many companies.

In my opinion, in the next few years in Pakistan, we will witness an exponential growth in the garment and textile manufacturing sector. This is a result of the outpouring of resources and positive sentiment by the global investors on the Middle East and Asia market.
