This makes CISMA to be one of the most important Asian trade fairs for the clothing industry. Every two years the international trade fair CISMA takes place in Shanghai / China.

Human Solutions presented solutions for the entire process chain in the clothing industry at CISMA Shanghai. The company is presenting itself as a partner for digitalization. Digital is now – the topic of digitization
is driving the clothing industry. Appropriate software solutions for the entire process chain from the initial idea to the shop come from the Human Solutions Group. “With our solutions, fashion can be thought and integrated
three-dimensionally from the start,” says Dr. Andreas Seidl, Managing Partner of Human Solutions. “Through 3D simulations with Vidya, designers get to the right prototype faster – there is then a realistic design, which can be used for the order right into the shop.”

In addition to its solutions for design, Human Solutions demonstrates how the human body can be optimally integrated into product development.  On the stand, trade visitors can be measured three-dimensionally in the color scanner VITUSbodyscan. “Human Solutions was the first company to use bodyscanning for the manufacture
of tailored clothing in the garment industry,” said Dr.  Helga Gäbel, Sales 3D Bodyscanner at Human Solutions.  “We have continuously expanded our expertise in this field and are now introducing the use of corporate fashion and workwear.” The company also presents the Virtual Mirror, which visualizes and simulates individualized clothing on the body, thus optimizing clothing before production of the customer.

Threadsol, an India-based provider of material management solutions, launched an upgrades version of its flagship IntelloCut fabric planning software at CISMA 2017, which it says can help manufacturers cut planning time by 80% and save upto 10% in fabric costs. IntelloCut Version 2.0 is said to be able to handle an array of products. A spokesperson for Threadsol said that the IntelloCut V2 differs from the original version in that it has been designed with cutting floor workers in mind.

“The user interface/user experience of the product is incredibly advanced with separate screens for the supervisor, planner and the laying person. Most importantly, it is available on a monthly subscription model as opposed to a one-time buy model of IntelloCut V1”

One of the most outstanding exhibitors was Gerber Technology, which will showcase its digital solutions to make the Industry 4.0  approach a reality  and implement its  Embrace your Digital Reality  slogan.  It is a suite of solutions that covers the whole process of confectionery production, which has already shown in several recent salons, such as Texprocess Frankfurt. The suite will integrate a new equipment: the cutter Z1, a continuous flow monolayer cutter, which is equipped with an automatic part positioning system, which can replace the manual
process, improving quality and productivity, reducing costs and times cycle. The Gerber stand will also show the  Paragon HX, an automatic cutting system with large production capacity.  Gerber will also  present its  Accumark 3D, which allows validating the prints and virtual samples so realistic that avoid the need to produce them physically, which is a lot more cost and time.

GERBER SUPPORTS TRANSITION TO INDUSTRY 4.0

Although the confectionary sector tends to be relatively slow in adopting technological changes, at the moment it seems that this process begins to accelerate so that the companies realize their digital transformation.
At CISMA, we look forward to meeting with many leaders in the apparel sector who want to understand how technology can help them meet current industry challenges  , said Johnny Wang, Managing Director of Gerber Technology Asia / Pacific.

Mohit Uberoi, who has been the managing director of Gerber Technology for a few months, said:  “the time has come for this sector to fully embrace digitization to take advantage of the technology connection possibilities and to improve quality, efficiency and structure of costs in a socially responsible way.

Uberoi assured that  Your  In  Embrace Your Digital Reality is critical. Each company is at a different stage on its way to digitization.Gerber has the knowledge, the approach to the clientele and a set of solutions to help them to follow that path and achieve excellent results.
