Towellers and Cocona will present innovative new products with 37.5® technology under the Eco-Dri brand
at He imtextil. Eco-Dri towels are powered by the same active particles in 37.5 technology, Cocona’s fabric technology that has been proven to increase human performance and comfort. The towels have a prolonged freshness, last 2.5 times longer than traditional towels, retain a soft hand and high water absorbency, and provide labor ,and energy savings during laundering, according to Towellers.

The product debuted last year in the hospitality, industrial, spa/resort and cruise markets, and is being introduced to retail this spring, with a focus on towels that stay fresher longer and don’t develop a mildew odor even after multiple uses

Naturally derived from coconut shell (activated carbon) or volcanic minerals, the patented particles are embedded into the yarn so the technology will never wash out or degrade. It is also Okeo-Tex certified, skin safe and certified as hypo-allergenic from the Hohenste in Institute.

Eco-Dri towels increase the amount of surface area on the towel, which speeds dry time on rack by 55%, according to AATCC 200 testing. The towels have greater durability than 100% cotton towels and will last 2.5 times longer on average, as confirmed by third-party testing facility Mesh01.
